Inside the Studio…

Shoebox Studios is located at 84 Provost Street in the heart of downtown New Glasgow. The building was previously home to New Glasgow’s radio station. With a few tweaks and some fresh paint, the station broadcasting booths have been transformed into tracking rooms, providing a perfect environment to continue the flow of music into downtown.

Shoebox is equipped with both a high-end digital recording system and an analog hybrid recording system, offering our clients a variety of tracking options.

With professional musicians turned producers and engineers, our team of creatives strives to support and capture your sound as authentically as possible.

The Shoebox Stage

Located in the same building at the Shoebox Cantina, our live events stage features multiple performances per week, with a focus on original music from artists all around Nova Scotia, as well as touring musicians coming through the area.

The stage is also wired directly to the studio upstairs, allowing for the recording of live performances, and the stage is also rigged up with 4 static cameras for filming and live-streaming.
